It is not a surprise that Rock Climbing started in this place. There are rock cliffs all around where you look and the urge to climb them combined with the dread of their steepness is in everyone.
There are virtually an unlimited number of peaks to climb. I am sure if anyone would decide to climb all the summits around, it will probably take a lifetime...
We have ventured in these places many times for climbing and hiking every time discovering new beautiful corners!
This is a place to roam around. Even though looks remote with a touch of lunar landscape, the facilities for tourism are perfectly organised, the tracks are always in superbe conditions, the accommodations, even mountain huts, are all ****+ hotels and the food is always excellent.
